Founder and President of JAS Aviation, Andrew "Andy" P. Sanfilippo, has an extensive aviation background. Since the inception of JAS Aviation, Andy has focused his efforts on the support and service of Twin Otter Aircraft and PT6 engines.
JAS has an experienced and knowledgable staff, which allows us to provide total support for the Twin Otter: PT6 parts, repair and overhaul, field training, oversears logistics, and technical services. JAS is also qualified and prepared to help you design and assemble an additional provisioning package to meet the needs of your specific operation. Our proficient purchasing agents enable us to provide you with the highest quality parts and rotables at the lowest price.
JAS is in contact daily with manufacturers such as Bombardier (de Havilland) and P&WC to ensure all parts and information are 100% up to date.
JAS Services is our FAA (#YJAR8401) and JAA (JAA 5386) approved components repair station facility. Our current capabilities include electrical, electro-mechanical, landing gear and brakes, fuel systems, hydraulics, airframe, limited radio, paint shop for components and NDT. We have recently been approved on the entire Twin Otter aircraft, including the 100, 200 and 300 series. The facility has been operating since 1992.
JAS Aircraft Sales and Leasing is uniquely qualified to assist both new and experienced Twin Otter operators in all aspects of buying or selling your aircraft or inventory. Our aircraft sales and leasing experts offer potential Twin Otter buyers or sellers presale inspection services with appraisal and analysis to assist you in making the best choice or in acquiring the best return on your excess inventory holdings.
PMA Design & Manufacturing, our newest facility, is a dedicated FAA approved manufacturing facility involved in the production of those "hard to find" consumable parts that are needed more and more each day. Production of all PMA components is in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations Part 21. All parts are of distinctively high quality and are fully interchangeable with their OEM equivalent.
